Event Details: 2007 Sawai Gandharva Annual Music Festival held on the grounds of the Ramanbaug New English School. Daily tickets can be bought from the venue.
Event Date(s) and Timings: Dec 6 - 9, 2007. Starts at 4pm everyday. On the last day they also have a special program at 8am.

This was my first time at this music festival, having moved to Pune recently. What impressed me was the turnout for the event and the discerning audience. Whenever the performers announced the Raag, the crowd would knowingly applaud or acknowledge. I listened to the likes of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Rahul Sharma, etc and was truly mesmerized by the performances. I have become a fan of tabalji Vijay Ghate. Cant wait for more such events. Hi! Does anyone know When it will be on this year? (2008) I am planning to be in Pune around that time and really want to catch it. Is the only way to get tickets in Pune?
